Clean Growth Incubator Rollout Event
An Accelerator for a City-by-City, Nationwide Buildout of a Clean Energy Economy
Rollout Discussion and Speakers Session
On October 14, 2020, the Center for Strategic Policy Innovation, in partnership with Arizona State University’s Laboratory for Energy And Power Solutions (LEAPS) presented a webinar designed to introduce the Center’s Clean Growth Incubator, along with its Template and webinar-enhanced training Platform. This Rollout Event included a targeted Speakers Session showcasing experts on several timely clean energy and resiliency topics, serving to demonstrate the depth of training and resources provided by the Clean Growth Incubator Platform.
Highlights of the Event
The Clean Growth Incubator - which includes a Template with targeted expertise on building out a clean energy economy - utilizes sophisticated urban planning business incubation techniques designed to serve as a roadmap for local government staff and urban planning officials to create resilient, renewable energy-based local economies.
The focus of these efforts include learning how to:
Create Local Wealth through the buildout of local (distributed) renewable energy
Build out successful “shovel ready” renewable energy projects
Use Renewable Energy Projects as a Catalyst to Attract Investment in your Community
Deploy Renewable Energy Microgrids to Protect Critical Infrastructure
Use Clean Growth plans to address Environmental Justice and Economic Inequality Issues
During the Rollout Discussion portion of this Event, attendees learned more about how the Clean Growth Incubator Platform works, and how to apply to be part of our nationwide implementation phase that began early in 2021.
